| 讓我首先聲明，雖然這模型是在 1999 年十一月完成，但它並不是萬代 (Bandai) 在 1999 年五月推出的 MG Zaku 模型，而是以初代 MG Zaku II F/J 改造而成；事實上它是我第一個進行大改做的 MG 級模型。對於當事人浮於事的我，以 MG 級模型之貴應該不會輕率去進行大改做，但正值當時我身在香港，模型的售價並不像加拿大這裡昂貴，自然會大膽一點去製作。無論如何，這模型是我在香港改裝，回到多倫多後才上色完成的。 | Let me make this clear, although the model was finished in November, 1999, it is not the MG Zaku model released by Bandai in May, 1999. This model was converted from the first MG Zaku II F/J kit. In fact it turns out to be my first MG kit that undergone heavy modifications. MG models tend to be expensive, this is especially true to me when I graduated but not settled down to a job at that time. However I was living in Hong Kong at that time; that means model kits are quite affordable. Anyhow, the model was built in Hong Kong but finished in Toronto when I returned to Canada for long. |

| 模型有幾個地方明顯地需要改做，分別是頭、胸、腰、肩裝甲、下臂和背包。現在一說這模型已是八年前的製作，故此改裝和塗裝的細節已經忘記了。另外那個 1999 年的秋天我合共完成了八個模型，它們的製作細節自然更加不能一一記起。(我返回加拿大是 1999 年八月的事，身邊帶著的是不少半製成品，因此我能在一個秋天完成八個模型！) | There are a few places that need to be modified for obvious reasons; they are the head, the chest, the waist, the shoulder armour, the lower arms and the back pack. It is not clear to me how I did the modifications and painting because it has been eight years ago. On top of that, I finished a lot of models in the fall of 1999, it is hard to recall the details of each one duringt that period. (I returned to Canada in August, 1999 with many semi-built models. This is why I can finish eight models in the fall of that year.) |
