| 這是我所製作的第六個 MG 渣古；第一個是渣古 II 的 J 型，第二個是馬沙專用的 S 型，第三個是改裝自 II 型的渣古(I)。而我所製作的第四個渣古是 Johnny Ridden 的 R-2 型，第五個是08小隊版的 B 型渣古(I)。除了第一個渣古 II 的 J 型以外，其他五個都以大同小異的方法製作。因此來到這個黑色三連星渣古的製作變得要花點腦筋，因為想有一點變化。 | This is the sixth MG Zaku I have built. My first one is the first MG Zaku II, the Type J; the second one is Char's Zaku II, which is Type S. The third one is a brown/blue Zaku converted from the old MG Zaku II. The fourth Zaku is the one piloted by Johnny Ridden, it is a Type R-2 Zaku II. The fifth one is the Type B Zaku from the OAV 08 MS Team, it is converted from the MG Zaku I model. Except for the very first one, the other four Zakus were modified here and there with similar tricks. As a result, I would like to do something different for this sixth Zaku. |

| 一如以往，我並沒有加上很多小裝飾在模型上，以保持原設定的風格。於是我只多刻數條線在模型表面以免部份地方顯得太單調。而在模型機體上我祇作了一點不是很明顯的改做，但這些小改做卻能用於大部份 MG 渣古身上。(新出的 F2 型渣古例外。) | I did not add many accessories onto this model, just a few simple decorations and extra panel lines. Nevertheless modifications were done, and they are quite applicable to the other MG Zakus. (Of course I am talking about the first generation of MG Zaku models, not the F2 Zaku II or version 2.0 Zaku II.) |

| 上下手臂中間的關節需要作改裝，因為相比起上下臂，那關節明顯太幼小。但因為那關節的膠料不適宜用畢地，因此我用超能膠及不同厚薄的膠板「增肥」了那關節。最後在膠板上刻上裝飾的線就大功造成。 | I changed the elbow joints because they look too small when they are compared with the upper and lower arms. Since Bandai manufactured that part with some soft material, using polyester putty is quite out of question. Thus I used super glue and plastic boards to beef up the joints. |

| 渣古粗粗的腰枝永遠是一個大問題，而這毛病在I型上尤甚，因為 II 型有喉管盤據腰部，稍粗的腰亦不甚刺眼；但I型則無此掩飾。為了修窄腰封唯有修改腰間所有的裝甲。 | The waist of Zaku is a little bit too big, at least this is what I think. This problem is more obvious in Zaku (I) because Zaku II has a pipe around each side of the waist, the pair sort of hide the problem. Well this is why all the armours on the hip were modified a little bit to cope with the problem. |

| 這個渣古胸部的改做與其他渣古稍有不同。我通常在其他渣古胸部裝甲向中央的地方(見下右圖紅線)加上1-2亳米的膠板，以便令到胸部裝甲加闊而整體胸部不至於橫向增加。(在裝甲向外的一方疊上膠板的話會令到整體胸部向橫增闊而遮蓋了原件向外精緻的雕刻。)這個向中央加厚的方法需要同時修窄中央的護甲。而今趟我在這個渣古的胸部左右裝甲的中央加上了膠板(見下左圖紅線)。如此整體胸部向橫了但仍保留了裝甲原件的雕刻。最後在左右裝甲向前的一面鋪上膠板，令到胸部看上去強壯一點。 | The chest is another place I like to modify on this series of Zaku models. In previous work, I widened the chest armour on both sides towards the centre. This is done by adding some 1-2 mm thick plastic board on the chest armour. The red line on the right side of the diagram below indicates the place of extra plastic. This time, however, the side armours were widened along the red line depicted in the left diagram. The chest is a little bit widened this time. On top of that, plastic board is put on the front of the two side armours as well; so it looks more muscular. |

| 但凡曾製作過 MG 渣古的朋友都可能留意到，它的雙腳需要差不多垂直站立，雙腳底才能完全貼在平面之上。最簡單解決這問題的辦法是把腳掌上部份向中央方向傾側，留出來的空位則用造型畢地補上就行了。 | Those who have built a Zaku probably notice that it is quite difficult to have the model stands on its feet that perfectly touch the ground. Therefore this Zaku's feet received a little modification on its feet as shown in the photo below. |

| 這個模型比起其他 MG 級的模型稍難上色，因為模型在分件上並非完全配合顏色設定，但因為這是 1:100 的模型的關係，所以用遮蓋紙幫助上色亦非難事。 | Although this is an MG model, painting of it is more difficult than most kits in the series because the Black Tri-Star version is only a color variation of another Zaku. However the MG Zaku (I) model is in turn a spin-off of the Zaku II model. This is why the Black Tri-Star Zaku do not have the correct colour plastic. After all this is not a big problem because the kit is big enough for easy masking. |
