| 這個吉姆 Q 型出現在機動戰士 0083最後一集之中，而且亦衹在畫面中現身數秒的時間，但原設定確實設計得不俗。在模型設計方面，這台 MG 級模型是借用 MG 版高達 NT-1 的鋼模與 GM Custom 一起推出的產品，所以內裡沒有甚麼誠意可言。可能是基於市場風險的擔憂，這台 Q 型吉姆和 GM Custom 的售價(¥3000)與貨品質素明顯脫節；但我還是把白花花的銀紙進貢給萬代(Bandai)買下這盒模型。但無庸置疑，萬代的確把這台吉姆 Q 型立體化得不俗。 | This GM appeared in the last few seconds of the OVA series Gundam 0083. Despite its bried appearance, the mecha design is really good. Nevertheless Hajime Katorki took the best design features from GM Custom, GM Kai and Gundam NT-1, which was designed by Yutaka Izubuchi, and came up with this design. Because of their resemblance, Bandai released the MG models of GM Quel and GM Custom at the same time (December 1999.) In fact Bandai also released the MG ZZ Gundam in the last month of the 20th century; such massive marketing strategy is seldom used in recent years. |

| 因為模型的外形不俗，而且原機體在動畫中祇是一瞥即逝，所以我衹進行有限度的改裝。這台 MG 級模我衹花了破紀錄的廿二天就完成了，因為模型衹改粗了上下臂之間的關節，以及依照山田卓司在《Gundam Weapon, ZZ Gundam 篇》中的作例，把 NT-1 的上身裝甲穿在這台吉姆 Q 上。這個做法其實甚為合適，因為吉姆 Q 的上身看似略小，加裝了護甲就帥很多了。 | Since the model was quite well, I decided to build it as fast as I can to see how much time for me to complete a model of this scale. After all, it took me 22 days to complete it; this is a record I do not want to challenge myself anymore! During the time, I put the armour of NT-1 on this model. The great Takuji Yamada did this in the "Mook" Gundam Weapons, ZZ Gundam, and I am just another copy cat only. I also modified the elbow joints of this GM as well. |

| 至於塗裝方面，這次仍是使用深底噴法，無甚特別可言。 | The paint job was done as usual, the shade was created using flat black as the undercoat. The other colors was spray-painted on top of this undercoat accordingly. |
