這個聖戰士昆霸模型是萬代(Bandai)推出的首個非高達 MG 系模型，故此雖然我並不特別喜歡聖戰士，也買了一盒回家看看萬代出產得如何。打開盒子一看，發覺模型採用了不少軟膠，這個實在令人失望。因為軟膠是難以打磨以及難以著色。可惜寫這篇介紹的時間與模型的製作相差了好幾年，所以已經不能清楚記得修改了甚麼地方。

This is the first MG model not from any Gundam series. Thus I bought it in 2000 to check out how Bandai did it. It was quite a disappointment when I opened the box because the model used a lot of PC parts, which are made by some kind of soft rubber. The problem of this material is that you cannot sand it nicely, no putty can be used, and it is not easy to paint as well. Since Gundam MG models have some internal structure under the armour, Bandai also tried to do so on this Dunbine. Unfortunately it does not work well. For one thing, I am not interested in the brain inside Dunbine's skull! Anyway, at least the proportion of the model is quite good!
