Thus I believe that the model was completed in 1993, could be 1994 though. I always like the design of this monster, Hans R. Giger’s design is absolutely groundbreaking and fascinating. This is why when I first found the model from a local hobby shop, I even went through the trouble of back-ordering it. |

| 這模型的外形以【異形】系列裡第二集的設計為依歸，因此它的外形比起首集中的異形更修長，但卻沒有之後幾集中以電腦合成的異形富動感。不論如何，這模型的姿勢和細部還是蠻不錯的。但話雖如此，模型的製作卻不能說不錯。模型的夾口罅隙相當之闊，但當時因為自己不知道造型畢地為何物，故此只以普通畢地填補夾縫，自然感到十分吃力。另外模型的表面細部不少，夾縫難免貫穿了部份細部，令打磨倍添困難。 | There are several Alien films and even two crossover films based on it and the Predator. However the model features the one from the second movie, Aliens. As a result, the creature is slimmer than the one from the first movie but less athlete-type than those in Alien vs. Predator. Nevertheless the model was nicely sculpted and the posture is appropriate. Halcyon released this model kit along with a few other kits from the movies Alien, Aliens and Alien3. This kit is the only one I bought and the building experience is quite unforgettable. The gaps between parts are typically large and wide. (I don’t think modeling polyester putty was available to me at that time; using ordinary putty to fill those large gaps is really difficult.) On top of that, the Alien design features a lot of surface details; some of the seams unavoidably run through them. It took me a long time to take care of the them. |

| 模型的製作在十多年前，當時所用的是一台田宮的 Spray Work 套裝，所以在噴塗裝備的制肘下，模型沒有噴上高光，只簡簡單單以黑色和乾掃白色而成。 | The model was painted in black with a little bit of dry-brushing using flat white. It was painted at the time when I was using Tamiya’s Spray Work from the mid-80's. Because of the hardware restriction, neither shades nor highlights were applied on the model, what a shame! |
